Sree Bhramarambha Mallikarjuna Swamy Gaushala is a 15 year old Gaushala which primarily focuses and devoted to the care and protection of cows, inspired by the divine presence of Lord Mallikarjuna and Goddess Bhramarambha, the mission of the Gaushala is the well-being of Cows.
Rooted in the values of dharma and seva, this Gaushala is home to nearly one thousand cows—most of whom are aged, abandoned, or rescued from hardship. Each cow is treated with deep reverence and love, seen not just as an animal but as a sacred symbol of motherhood and divinity. The Gaushala offers them a safe, nurturing environment where they can live with dignity, and eventually experience a peaceful and protected passage in their final stage of life.
Beyond being a shelter, the Gaushala serves as a spiritual space for devotees and volunteers who wish to engage in go-seva, meditation, and Vedic rituals. It promotes sustainable living through the use of traditional cow-based products like gomutra, dung cakes, and handmade items. The vision is to revive and share the ancient wisdom of cow protection and its link to inner transformation and spiritual ecology. Mallikarjunaswamy Gaushala is more than a home for cows—it is a sacred commitment to compassion, where caring for the cow becomes a path of devotion and healing for both the animal and the human spirit.
